Jonathan is currently working as composer on:
- His Books. An opera in collaboration with writer/director Gary Carter.
- Endangered. A new music theatre piece for Youth Music Theatre: UK in collaboration with director Peta Lily.
- The Ark. A collaboration with designer/director Louise-Ann Wilson.
- Labels. A series of songs for museums.
Newly completed compositions and arrangements include:
- The Funambulist's Daring Feats, a quartet for oboe, two clarinets and bassoon in four movements.
- Half a Day in a Life, a series of pieces for solo cello commissioned by Thangam Debbonaire.
- Pauper's Chamber, a trio for two clarinets and cello.
- A full length music theatre piece Cut With a Kitchen Knife is looking for production. Cut With a Kitchen Knife addresses the ever increasing fragmentation of our daily lives by using a historical perspective, the Dada period of the early 1920s.
